Vendor Terms

These terms apply to users who list goods or manage rentals as Rentalnesia vendors.

Effective date
18 July 2026
Version
2026-07-18

1. Eligibility and verification

Vendors must have lawful identity and business authority, complete required checks, and maintain accurate profile, address, bank, and tax information.

Approval may be withdrawn for false information, inadequate permits, or unacceptable risk.

2. Listings and goods

  • List only lawfully owned or controlled goods suitable for rental.
  • Accurately disclose photos, condition, defects, accessories, stock, price, deposit, location, restrictions, and safety instructions.
  • Illegal, stolen, counterfeit, infringing, or unlicensed regulated goods are prohibited.
  • Maintain calendar and stock to prevent double-booking.

3. Fulfilment and safety

Vendors must respond, provide conforming safe goods, record condition evidence, protect renter privacy, and provide reasonable assistance.

Off-platform fee circumvention, unlawful discrimination, review manipulation, and misuse of user documents are prohibited.

4. Commission, fees, and payout

Commission, vendor-related fees, tax, and net proceeds appear in the dashboard or transaction summary. Rules effective at booking govern calculation.

Vendor funds become releasable through escrow after initial handover, currently D+1, and may be held for refunds, chargebacks, disputes, fraud, negative balances, or legal duties.

5. Tax and business records

Vendors are responsible for applicable tax determination, collection, reporting, and payment. Rentalnesia may withhold or report where legally required.

Transaction records and ownership or permit evidence must be retained as required.

6. Pro, boosts, and paid features

Rentalnesia Pro, boost credits, and paid features follow the displayed price, term, quota, renewal, and supplemental terms. Boosting placement does not guarantee bookings or income.

7. Damage claims and disputes

Claims must be proportionate and supported by before/after condition, fair value, communications, and documents. Deposits must not be treated as unsupported penalties.

Vendors must cooperate with mediation, chargebacks, authorities, and security investigations.

8. Enforcement and termination

Rentalnesia may remove listings, hold payouts, restrict features, or suspend vendors to protect users and the platform. Material, repeated, or illegal conduct may terminate access and be reported.
