Rental Transaction Terms

These terms supplement the Terms of Use whenever a renter books vendor goods through Rentalnesia.

Effective date

Version

1. Parties and product information

The vendor offers and rents the goods; the renter uses them. Rentalnesia provides the platform and payment facilities.

Vendors are responsible for lawful control, condition, safety, photos, specifications, stock, price, special requirements, and instructions.

2. Booking and availability

The renter selects goods, dates, quantity, and handover method. A booking becomes final only when the displayed status and payment steps are met.

Vendors must process bookings promptly. Overlapping dates or unavailable stock may be rejected.

3. Price, fees, and payment

Checkout discloses base rent, service fee, payment fee, deposit where applicable, and total. Dynamic components shown on confirmation govern that transaction.

Payment uses DOKU or the displayed provider. Failed or expired payment may cancel the booking.

4. Escrow and payout

Transaction funds follow the platform escrow flow. Vendor entitlement becomes releasable after initial handover confirmation and is currently processed at D+1 unless lawfully held, anomalous, or disputed.

Escrow is not a deposit account, investment, or guarantee that all transaction risk is removed.

5. Deposit

Required deposits are disclosed before booking and may be returned after completion where no evidenced claim exists.

Vendors may claim for loss, damage, delay, or other obligations. Rentalnesia may hold the deposit during evidence review without limiting legal rights.

6. Handover and use

  • Check identity, condition, accessories, serial number where applicable, and capture photos at handover and return.
  • Use goods reasonably, for their purpose, within safety and location rules, and do not transfer them without permission.
  • Promptly report damage, loss, accidents, delay, or safety issues.

7. Extensions and late return

An extension applies only after an in-platform request, vendor approval, and any required payment. A request alone does not change the return date.

Late return may lead to a disclosed, evidence-based fee or claim.

8. Reviews and disputes

Reviews must be honest and relevant. Keep communications, condition evidence, payment records, and handover proof, then use dispute tools or contact support@rentalnesia.com.

Rentalnesia mediates using available records. Platform administration does not remove either party's legal remedies.
